This Cookie Policy explains how RevSplitPay, operated by RevSplitPay Limited (Ireland), uses cookies and similar technologies on app.revsplitpay.com and related pages. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, keep small pieces of information in your browser in the same way. Throughout this policy, "cookies" covers both.
2. Our approach
We keep cookies to a minimum:
- we only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to work, and a few preference settings that remember choices you make;
- we do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or social-media tracking pixels;
- our analytics are cookieless.
Because of this, we do not currently show a cookie consent banner. If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary or set at your request, we will ask for your consent before setting them, and you will be able to change your choice at any time.
3. Cookies and storage we use
3.1 Strictly necessary
These are required for sign-in, security and the core service. The platform cannot work without them, so they do not require consent.

3.2 Preferences (functional)
These remember choices you make, so the platform works the way you set it. They are not used for tracking.

3.3 Analytics and performance (cookieless)
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand overall usage and page performance. They:
- do not set cookies or store identifiers on your device;
- collect aggregated data, such as pages viewed, referrer, country, browser and device type, and page-load speed;
- are not used to identify you or to follow you across other websites.
4. Third-party payment pages
When you pay or connect a payment account, you may be taken to pages run by our payment providers, Stripe (for example Stripe Checkout and Stripe's account onboarding) or Whop. These providers set their own cookies on their own pages, for example to:
- prevent fraud;
- keep you signed in;
- remember your payment session.
Those cookies are controlled by the providers and governed by their cookie and privacy policies, not by this policy.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies, and clear local storage, through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- see which cookies are stored and delete them;
- block cookies from some or all websites;
- clear all cookies and site data when you close the browser.
If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in or use the platform. If you clear preference storage, your settings (such as theme) will go back to their defaults.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy, for example if we add a new provider or type of cookie. Material changes will be announced on our platform, and the "Last updated" date above will change. If a change requires your consent, we will ask for it before setting the new cookies.
